Please see attached meeting notes from the SCAA Hurricane sub-group meeting which took place on the 17th October 2017.
We also have pleasure in attaching information and intelligence provided by Charles Taylor Associates, Mat Dan and the Lloyd’s Agency Department, from the affected region(s) – please note that the respective information was correct at time of issuance and as you will appreciate this has been subject to development during the intervening period and again, will be, moving forward.
We anticipate further information will become available as time progresses and this will be circulated.
One thing to bear in mind from a wreck/salvage removal perspective is that we’ve been advised that there’s an indication that certain salvors are considering withdrawing assets from the region on the basis there appears to be little need for them when the opposite may, in fact, be true.
Whilst the list below is certainly by no means exhaustive (and we are certain there are others who are also willing to assist) the following surveyors / loss adjusters / claim consultants have indicated a presence or activity in the region, or able to assist where applicable.
